There was a fire in Villaggio Doha Qatar (28/5/2012).
The fire seemed electrical, and started in the Nike store, approximately 11am.
Police quickly evacuated the shopping mall, then began crowd control and traffic control. Fire Fighters were seen shortly after the arrival of the police.
The fire started slow but soon escalated rapidly.
While I was there I saw everyone evacuated and I asked the management if anyone was injured and they said no. But now it has been confirmed by authorities that there have been 19 deaths, 13 of which were children.
